英国女插画作家作品
作者介绍：yvonne gilbert 生于英国Northumberland诺森伯兰郡,并在此长大。就读于Newcastle College 和 Liverpool College 学习艺术。在那里她获得了美术和设计的毕业证书。她全职讲学5年，而后于1978年成为了自由插画家。从那以后她主要为英国范围工作，进来也为美国出版业提供作品。
她曾独立为两部读物绘制插画：'A Dictionary of Fairies' and 'The Iron Wolf' by Richard
1985年她获得Golden Stamp 奖，并为英国邮政局设计了世界上最美的邮票
她的作品每年都出现在欧洲插画年刊展上，还有其他展览中。
她用精细的彩铅绘制作品，并具有罕见的细致美妙地捕捉童年的强烈印象妙的能力，可以说这在20世纪以来的儿童画艺术家中都是难以匹敌的。就是这样的品质始她优美作品如此真实
