模拟地球开始，Life With PlayStation正式上线
http://image1.levelup.cn/c/news/images/2008_9/f33a4fde-e535-4a15-8eb6-9e5b42699394.jpg索尼官方今天正式发布了面向PS3用户的新业务“Life With PlayStation”。该业务能够为用户提供即时的全球新闻资讯及天气预报服务，同时能够与Folding@Home项目进行互动。
“Life With PlayStation”允许用户在一个由3D动画模拟成的地球上任意选择地点，同时获取该地点（或所在国家）的最新天气预报和实时更新的头条新闻，还可以下载阅读新闻的简要内容。
据悉，该服务首批上线的功能名为“生活频道（LIVE CHANNEL）”，以时间和地点为轴，主要为用户提供互动的新闻内容，其中包括天气预报（由The Weather Channel提供）、头条新闻（由Google News提供）、全球60多座城市的实时映像（主要由The Earth Television Network提供）等。
索尼官方保证，在“生活频道”之后，还会有其他新功能作为“Life With PlayStation”的补充陆续上线，进一步开发PS3作为家庭娱乐终端在用户互动和在线体验方面的潜力。
加入“Life With PlayStation”的方法非常简单，PS3用户只要连接网络并点击XMB界面上Network下的Folding@home图标，按操作提示就可以下载升级（需要约500MB空间）。升级后的Folding@home将支持更多的新模拟功能，此外还包括新的用户排名系统。
