<P> 砂原之霸者“波尔伯罗斯（ボルボロス）”是生活在《怪物猎人3》中登场的新场景砂原中的“兽龙种”怪物。</P>

<P> 作为体型巨大的兽龙族代表怪物之一，波尔伯罗斯虽然没有飞龙那样的巨大翅膀可以飞翔，但却拥有强力无比的双腿，加之其坚硬如石的头部，高速的突进撞击自然成为它的攻击利器。波尔伯罗斯喜欢分布在砂原中的沼泽地，它甚至可以全身没于沼泽深处，只留下头顶的鼻孔用来呼吸，这不仅能有利的躲避猎人，还能不受砂原高温的侵扰。另外，“泥浴”之后的波尔伯罗斯还能通过剧烈的抖动身体利用飞落的泥沙使猎人浑身沾满泥土而行动不便。</P>
