seemed very cool to me. So awhile back I thought I could make a Pro Action Replay
+ T& [3 `- i/ b3 a! t; pcheat code to play as these characters. It was simple enough to make a code to( K0 ]& |3 V: M1 ~0 d, ~
make you be any of the three. Try it out in an unpatched ROM. Use these codes:

badass characters, doing anything other than pressing Up, Down, High Punch, or
; e+ J, k3 W+ |block will cause the game to crash. This isn't very fun. So I decided to look
# |% J: y; [1 l+ k9 {' Finto the problem and thus here is this patch.$ I# D/ P6 p. R, _9 J, Q

* All 3 characters have Special moves.

* Playing 2 Player Versus with a Hidden Character no longer crashes the game.

7 o$ N& j% o8 O4 \, U2 l2 b+ G ^) _The secret codes are entered on the Character Selection Screen. You must enter; E& @( E' |% \* R% \! _
a combination of directional pad presses followed by SELECT to enter them. The
& W' u9 w3 J1 w' M8 [codes were made the way they are so they are very easy to enter. After hitting2 ~# S, n! Q( |
SELECT you should press any of these buttons: A,B,X,Y,L,R. If you press another
/ o' H ?( b- f8 ?direction on the directional pad after pressing Select and hearing the correct- E6 @ i! E. L1 @5 u
code sound effect, you will change your character back to a regular character.

Next, in Versus Mode any Secret Character will use Kung Lao as their "Battle

character has their own unique portrait or they will all get a question mark& S0 j( ~2 X& k8 U7 z7 z
style portrait like the tournament ladder has.
