The hidden characters in Mortal Kombat II (Smoke, Noob Saibot, and Jade) always! Q. c! j& I# ^6 w+ z9 [9 f
seemed very cool to me. So awhile back I thought I could make a Pro Action Replay
/ S9 _" S9 |4 K3 l) \ J/ l5 ~cheat code to play as these characters. It was simple enough to make a code to

So now you see that while you can force the game to let you be one of these# `: m( G3 x9 x" G! k+ B
badass characters, doing anything other than pressing Up, Down, High Punch, or( o! v' a$ p9 I& R& u; i- L( q) Q4 J
block will cause the game to crash. This isn't very fun. So I decided to look
. l( Y. h" O; G* W/ q. K0 Winto the problem and thus here is this patch.

This patch does alot of things to allow the game to run with a human controlling: M) d! [8 p) U; K
any of the hidden characters (Smoke, Noob, Jade) without crashing. Below are some
3 {8 _/ W- g v+ S* Lkeypoints.

* All 3 characters can now move like every normal character without crashes." u8 ?, s2 G7 q) t! w
* All 3 characters have Special moves.
6 a4 K. A! t5 N; b* All 3 characters can now perform Finishing Moves and be Finished themselves.
3 {2 x: p2 G; d3 u% F0 u* All 3 characters have Fatality moves.
; N9 y( h) K$ I2 M% G- V+ z* All 3 characters have Friendship and Babality moves. ' F" e4 \+ [1 `/ v% K u
* All 3 characters are no longer stuck in Goro's Lair, the may appear anywhere.! c. w9 }) {, V* x. J0 W7 L
* Playing 2 Player Versus with a Hidden Character no longer crashes the game.

Secret Codes:

a combination of directional pad presses followed by SELECT to enter them. The) H Q2 g4 N; q2 T; |" ]4 B
codes were made the way they are so they are very easy to enter. After hitting
1 @6 e; X( Z, l8 ISELECT you should press any of these buttons: A,B,X,Y,L,R. If you press another
% M9 I# t ?' e: q! s- edirection on the directional pad after pressing Select and hearing the correct: j) Q8 c7 {, J" J/ G J% v
code sound effect, you will change your character back to a regular character.

First thing you should know is there aren't any endings for the new characters.

Next, in Versus Mode any Secret Character will use Kung Lao as their "Battle: ?$ D5 Z% a% {) }
Portrait" that appears on the screen that says BATTLE # and has each player's& B( ]6 m5 D5 r! W
character picture. In a later version if I can I will change this so each
% X3 M7 j! a1 s+ }# q6 R8 A! zcharacter has their own unique portrait or they will all get a question mark5 o, g! t/ n6 k% p V
