+ V+ ~7 b3 D$ Zcheat code to play as these characters. It was simple enough to make a code to
* x( A( i# a- p: {% n/ ]. S' zmake you be any of the three. Try it out in an unpatched ROM. Use these codes:

So now you see that while you can force the game to let you be one of these

block will cause the game to crash. This isn't very fun. So I decided to look
' Z& ?4 e; [& G) o8 ]! n# G$ e' Ainto the problem and thus here is this patch.6 Z7 t4 y2 y/ X- K1 P

This patch does alot of things to allow the game to run with a human controlling
8 f! `: F: x9 G5 y2 R5 m) H$ vany of the hidden characters (Smoke, Noob, Jade) without crashing. Below are some

5 C$ H9 q W/ C* All 3 characters can now move like every normal character without crashes.( {5 E" Z- X. y7 |( d4 M/ N
* All 3 characters have Special moves.
9 w. q+ W' y% `, z7 v+ y* All 3 characters can now perform Finishing Moves and be Finished themselves.' M. T: y* |1 q$ ?- |5 X
* All 3 characters have Fatality moves.

* g- t0 ~" t& T% I+ B* All 3 characters are no longer stuck in Goro's Lair, the may appear anywhere.
* Z$ P# y2 ]8 m# L* Playing 2 Player Versus with a Hidden Character no longer crashes the game.

The secret codes are entered on the Character Selection Screen. You must enter5 I3 q% ^. |( k2 j( k
a combination of directional pad presses followed by SELECT to enter them. The
- m f6 t) \/ Q% k6 }codes were made the way they are so they are very easy to enter. After hitting$ @, b% m, {- P
SELECT you should press any of these buttons: A,B,X,Y,L,R. If you press another9 }8 n0 R8 O8 J6 l5 X: m
direction on the directional pad after pressing Select and hearing the correct
- J" z6 j* e) Q+ t1 Mcode sound effect, you will change your character back to a regular character.
+ V/ H5 r4 i6 b+ M- \; k& ]Below are the buttons you should press. Note, You can exchange B for any of the5 i, L+ p" H0 f+ A9 l
ones I listed above.
