seemed very cool to me. So awhile back I thought I could make a Pro Action Replay
: a" n& l5 _0 R8 hcheat code to play as these characters. It was simple enough to make a code to0 N2 Y) r$ F( j: C& m
make you be any of the three. Try it out in an unpatched ROM. Use these codes:

badass characters, doing anything other than pressing Up, Down, High Punch, or8 {" w# ^, X( O3 B4 s
block will cause the game to crash. This isn't very fun. So I decided to look
4 W! j5 R, Q, vinto the problem and thus here is this patch.6 }* F5 F, {& \2 g

Patch Details:
2 t) p6 \, @% G( {: uThis patch does alot of things to allow the game to run with a human controlling- K: l2 H9 i7 b q0 {" R0 K. O7 l
any of the hidden characters (Smoke, Noob, Jade) without crashing. Below are some
" J i) |4 b6 b5 }. M7 Gkeypoints.( A! @ n1 d' ^3 o6 v

* All 3 characters can now move like every normal character without crashes.
( q! q6 n5 o0 n* All 3 characters have Special moves.

* All 3 characters have Fatality moves.( K1 p: f: l$ u

* All 3 characters are no longer stuck in Goro's Lair, the may appear anywhere.

* Added 'Secret Codes' to play as any Hidden Character for Player 1.

The secret codes are entered on the Character Selection Screen. You must enter' Y# y8 ^; z, D/ k
a combination of directional pad presses followed by SELECT to enter them. The
5 C6 K' m' N3 \7 q8 N$ M+ a$ w& }codes were made the way they are so they are very easy to enter. After hitting" [5 S. _4 D0 h" f7 }* f. y
SELECT you should press any of these buttons: A,B,X,Y,L,R. If you press another6 t" z: N! |( Y/ @) H% H/ V
direction on the directional pad after pressing Select and hearing the correct
8 M! z& b' g8 v/ T- Lcode sound effect, you will change your character back to a regular character.
8 l4 n5 H1 i( ^Below are the buttons you should press. Note, You can exchange B for any of the/ E* o5 j, u; ]% `* @( P

When you beat the game and it should show an ending story, the game will default

Next, in Versus Mode any Secret Character will use Kung Lao as their "Battle
( L5 x7 P6 o! F. g3 j3 mPortrait" that appears on the screen that says BATTLE # and has each player's
- b% g0 o, h$ O7 w8 p! \) G" Icharacter picture. In a later version if I can I will change this so each" \3 v% d7 M H5 L2 s6 u& C! m6 b
character has their own unique portrait or they will all get a question mark% m7 g' H+ q5 s+ w+ F ^
style portrait like the tournament ladder has.
