The hidden characters in Mortal Kombat II (Smoke, Noob Saibot, and Jade) always
( ~6 w' G9 ` q) V- ^# t5 ~seemed very cool to me. So awhile back I thought I could make a Pro Action Replay
6 f; w/ ]* I! x7 Qcheat code to play as these characters. It was simple enough to make a code to
; N/ q; r4 ^4 J/ R! I6 K! C0 X4 Gmake you be any of the three. Try it out in an unpatched ROM. Use these codes:7 \$ d9 z2 N. M

block will cause the game to crash. This isn't very fun. So I decided to look

This patch does alot of things to allow the game to run with a human controlling( v4 G1 }0 ~; r
any of the hidden characters (Smoke, Noob, Jade) without crashing. Below are some5 A! X: d# k h) k( i" F
keypoints.. c; C0 ]$ y3 q; o. ~

* All 3 characters can now move like every normal character without crashes.! z: T; h9 ]( \1 d- Y. f
* All 3 characters have Special moves.- b# N: R: b# ~' H' n# b0 f& {
* All 3 characters can now perform Finishing Moves and be Finished themselves.
) {* N: e5 }9 c. g$ E- g( u) T* All 3 characters have Fatality moves.

* Playing 2 Player Versus with a Hidden Character no longer crashes the game.

codes were made the way they are so they are very easy to enter. After hitting

Portrait" that appears on the screen that says BATTLE # and has each player's2 `' c1 f& c' ^, k, w; ^3 [1 N
character picture. In a later version if I can I will change this so each0 _- w4 @# b6 W2 U0 ~1 s" J
character has their own unique portrait or they will all get a question mark
