seemed very cool to me. So awhile back I thought I could make a Pro Action Replay2 g, z0 v' v& i( z& A
cheat code to play as these characters. It was simple enough to make a code to0 l, H8 s: q, ~8 }0 Y* d8 z
make you be any of the three. Try it out in an unpatched ROM. Use these codes:

badass characters, doing anything other than pressing Up, Down, High Punch, or
+ ~8 J& R* _ N/ G- @block will cause the game to crash. This isn't very fun. So I decided to look+ b7 J; c A+ y1 m! D- |& D
into the problem and thus here is this patch.' n; I* k2 n6 ]. D- J

This patch does alot of things to allow the game to run with a human controlling
" \- [, ]6 [0 _$ @$ L6 l% uany of the hidden characters (Smoke, Noob, Jade) without crashing. Below are some

* All 3 characters can now move like every normal character without crashes.$ M+ V: y2 ~& y: O
* All 3 characters have Special moves.
0 b4 z8 i* d8 E2 S" L, N* All 3 characters can now perform Finishing Moves and be Finished themselves.

* Playing 2 Player Versus with a Hidden Character no longer crashes the game.

The secret codes are entered on the Character Selection Screen. You must enter! I/ q9 b( n. F% ]
a combination of directional pad presses followed by SELECT to enter them. The6 E" W, o8 i4 r3 p$ M+ B4 G
codes were made the way they are so they are very easy to enter. After hitting. [2 M' W! N' c8 R- P
SELECT you should press any of these buttons: A,B,X,Y,L,R. If you press another! X5 u* Y$ C( w) M
direction on the directional pad after pressing Select and hearing the correct
$ h, W! V2 w2 n5 }code sound effect, you will change your character back to a regular character.
5 T. X5 g9 x6 P3 G/ ~' m$ N( U4 DBelow are the buttons you should press. Note, You can exchange B for any of the9 r% A9 \! K/ K& M+ T

to Kung Lao's Ending.

Next, in Versus Mode any Secret Character will use Kung Lao as their "Battle, o! S( [$ V, @7 H4 |
Portrait" that appears on the screen that says BATTLE # and has each player's3 }/ [, H0 a6 w8 X, y0 D. C) l" E
character picture. In a later version if I can I will change this so each
4 r; _" R* b9 k* Z$ T) hcharacter has their own unique portrait or they will all get a question mark
