The hidden characters in Mortal Kombat II (Smoke, Noob Saibot, and Jade) always4 o- W: ]3 v) {/ q1 i2 p, `2 f s
seemed very cool to me. So awhile back I thought I could make a Pro Action Replay. r* g) U- \6 ~( {5 d
cheat code to play as these characters. It was simple enough to make a code to! _) U8 E+ _6 p
make you be any of the three. Try it out in an unpatched ROM. Use these codes:$ _' X( q/ Z, T7 ~+ O$ J2 }* ?

This patch does alot of things to allow the game to run with a human controlling
; l4 H0 L$ Y3 o" U( b, Iany of the hidden characters (Smoke, Noob, Jade) without crashing. Below are some& c- ^. n/ G- z% S# N
keypoints.+ G+ ~& @2 m& x' |( f8 _8 R6 y

* All 3 characters can now move like every normal character without crashes.

* All 3 characters can now perform Finishing Moves and be Finished themselves.2 m" ^- z p; P0 B
* All 3 characters have Fatality moves.

* Added 'Secret Codes' to play as any Hidden Character for Player 1.

The secret codes are entered on the Character Selection Screen. You must enter( P8 ^" A: O! ~( S d
a combination of directional pad presses followed by SELECT to enter them. The
9 u. s8 t4 z( k7 \$ Kcodes were made the way they are so they are very easy to enter. After hitting- H$ o1 ?! [5 x) `
SELECT you should press any of these buttons: A,B,X,Y,L,R. If you press another! D7 Y" j+ X) N2 ~
direction on the directional pad after pressing Select and hearing the correct
3 O, o7 c0 Q. @% R$ v8 R ]! rcode sound effect, you will change your character back to a regular character.
! b) r, Q! T1 D6 J! I6 _Below are the buttons you should press. Note, You can exchange B for any of the

Portrait" that appears on the screen that says BATTLE # and has each player's2 M2 p J# e0 N6 Y5 {* s( Z, i
character picture. In a later version if I can I will change this so each+ H, _5 |3 \( V. P3 a
character has their own unique portrait or they will all get a question mark/ \2 H: @3 T1 b0 U; W$ u5 X
style portrait like the tournament ladder has.
