The hidden characters in Mortal Kombat II (Smoke, Noob Saibot, and Jade) always7 @" ]/ s& R" {) Q, R
seemed very cool to me. So awhile back I thought I could make a Pro Action Replay+ ~+ k" b* [1 L
cheat code to play as these characters. It was simple enough to make a code to2 N( f5 @7 R P+ T' ]6 F
make you be any of the three. Try it out in an unpatched ROM. Use these codes:1 @/ |9 a; @* U+ E4 b$ {' }. e: _

badass characters, doing anything other than pressing Up, Down, High Punch, or& C9 I) W, y* G9 S3 X
block will cause the game to crash. This isn't very fun. So I decided to look9 R' M: {' c8 _
into the problem and thus here is this patch.

Patch Details:
3 i- W$ ^1 A7 ^8 @This patch does alot of things to allow the game to run with a human controlling; X; l' \: w. y# U1 \
any of the hidden characters (Smoke, Noob, Jade) without crashing. Below are some0 v( `1 ~8 n8 i. Z$ S+ M& C

* h7 w# C2 q7 Y8 ]. j2 s3 h* All 3 characters can now move like every normal character without crashes.

* All 3 characters can now perform Finishing Moves and be Finished themselves.

codes were made the way they are so they are very easy to enter. After hitting

First thing you should know is there aren't any endings for the new characters.

Next, in Versus Mode any Secret Character will use Kung Lao as their "Battle

9 k+ _; m6 z1 o2 Jcharacter picture. In a later version if I can I will change this so each
9 p& ?2 G. f+ [5 f' Tcharacter has their own unique portrait or they will all get a question mark7 s: s6 H3 U/ p; X# M8 t
