The hidden characters in Mortal Kombat II (Smoke, Noob Saibot, and Jade) always
seemed very cool to me. So awhile back I thought I could make a Pro Action Replay
cheat code to play as these characters. It was simple enough to make a code to
) M" o8 O; e! ?" }make you be any of the three. Try it out in an unpatched ROM. Use these codes:

, b3 m8 _) i- g( W7E2EF80E - Player 1 Is Smoke
2 j: w. t3 O: i( @# {/ M5 e1 a; S7E2EF80F - Player 1 Is Noob Saibot
9 j2 p9 q2 g3 e: q7E2EF810 - Player 1 Is Jade

badass characters, doing anything other than pressing Up, Down, High Punch, or
block will cause the game to crash. This isn't very fun. So I decided to look
into the problem and thus here is this patch.

This patch does alot of things to allow the game to run with a human controlling
1 r5 g% t; v3 }7 [& Lany of the hidden characters (Smoke, Noob, Jade) without crashing. Below are some
+ ?) ?" h' g$ `/ e) w) Tkeypoints.
! }$ M% Y5 _& a3 X
* All 3 characters can now move like every normal character without crashes.
2 S- t8 y. @* k, Y5 U% `2 ^8 _1 _* All 3 characters have Special moves.
* All 3 characters can now perform Finishing Moves and be Finished themselves.
5 Z6 T" Q# Y9 q* All 3 characters have Fatality moves.
4 p0 Y. l) X, h6 }' y) R+ U* All 3 characters have Friendship and Babality moves.
5 f! X! K0 A9 v5 h( m7 Y* All 3 characters are no longer stuck in Goro's Lair, the may appear anywhere.
; t! N3 a+ l* c6 s# K% Q* Playing 2 Player Versus with a Hidden Character no longer crashes the game.
6 X0 _5 x& M" A2 w6 E* Added 'Secret Codes' to play as any Hidden Character for Player 1.

Secret Codes:
The secret codes are entered on the Character Selection Screen. You must enter
a combination of directional pad presses followed by SELECT to enter them. The
6 a+ C0 b8 H$ Q5 L+ zcodes were made the way they are so they are very easy to enter. After hitting
% M% M0 y- e! s. p1 lSELECT you should press any of these buttons: A,B,X,Y,L,R. If you press another
direction on the directional pad after pressing Select and hearing the correct
code sound effect, you will change your character back to a regular character.
Below are the buttons you should press. Note, You can exchange B for any of the
ones I listed above.

Play As Noob - Left, Left, Left, Left, Left, Select, B

以上指令在选人画面输入。而且是必须快速输入（最好在2秒内全部完成输入）

  h! \7 ]  _0 v5 jto Kung Lao's Ending.

/ ?4 N' K- H& j5 s; DNext, in Versus Mode any Secret Character will use Kung Lao as their "Battle
5 G5 r5 u" X# I7 \) FPortrait" that appears on the screen that says BATTLE # and has each player's
character picture. In a later version if I can I will change this so each
character has their own unique portrait or they will all get a question mark
" K; s- z' X4 G, S2 tstyle portrait like the tournament ladder has.
