The hidden characters in Mortal Kombat II (Smoke, Noob Saibot, and Jade) always( L2 k3 c3 p* G6 a8 \8 ^
seemed very cool to me. So awhile back I thought I could make a Pro Action Replay
7 H. K& r3 X- K5 mcheat code to play as these characters. It was simple enough to make a code to
( w8 t T9 g2 Q: I7 w( lmake you be any of the three. Try it out in an unpatched ROM. Use these codes:! T; \* x$ L" `( p, R7 ?: B

block will cause the game to crash. This isn't very fun. So I decided to look

This patch does alot of things to allow the game to run with a human controlling
0 c# Q9 G; C! |, p: x) g2 x1 Vany of the hidden characters (Smoke, Noob, Jade) without crashing. Below are some

* d+ s& t! B/ e( S0 e( p& v3 N9 j* All 3 characters can now move like every normal character without crashes.+ B, ?- d- C3 ?) d" j/ n# ^8 i
* All 3 characters have Special moves.
4 ]; l0 J% [5 c5 r* {/ H' i* All 3 characters can now perform Finishing Moves and be Finished themselves.
& U9 f L4 B1 M, ~. z) f J; p* All 3 characters have Fatality moves.

* All 3 characters are no longer stuck in Goro's Lair, the may appear anywhere.

* Added 'Secret Codes' to play as any Hidden Character for Player 1.* H/ }/ ~, i1 \1 s; Z( p

codes were made the way they are so they are very easy to enter. After hitting C7 a6 b6 p, j/ m8 c2 @7 s! k
SELECT you should press any of these buttons: A,B,X,Y,L,R. If you press another! P- ^0 N7 n, r8 u
direction on the directional pad after pressing Select and hearing the correct7 y6 [. C7 k9 _7 }
code sound effect, you will change your character back to a regular character.3 j4 i' T. P; x" O) y2 j

character picture. In a later version if I can I will change this so each" n5 S: s O8 f+ E. f! i- i
character has their own unique portrait or they will all get a question mark k2 _) }$ W' m$ w, ^
